"ANOTHER YEAR, ANOTHER UPDATE"

I might as well give an update to you all regarding the game itself, since it has been around 8 months since we gave an actual update, so yeah, here is a summarized technical update:

We've had a few changes in hands inside the project, regulated a few things, and set others in motion. Recently, as seen through the MPU's, we have finished 8 models, textured 7 of them, rigged 6 of them, and have also given the game's artstyle a new look in terms of 2D art ( that will be shown soon enough ).

Even more, we gave the script a whole rewrite, including more scenes to flesh out certain details, which in the original draft were either non-existent or were not placed in the spotlight, and wrote out some new interesting things to do for post-game content ( that will mostly be saved up for release to keep the surprise ).

As for the environments themselves, they are all being remodelled to fit the new vision we want to go for, with now more people adequate to help with both interior and exterior design, meaning progress can now be made on all fronts without relying on just 1 person/idea.

However, you all can expect going forward only prop showcases and at most a dedicated teaser of certain specific characters to spice up the marketing, as we don't intend to show off all our cards just yet. But before I talk about the main part of this post, I would like to thank a certain someone for this new vision the project is heading.

For context, for the last 6 months, I have been focusing primarily on my studies and had to have someone take over the project while I was gone, so as not to not hault the project entirely. And @RadioOfficial took the mantle perfectly, to the point we even got more progress than expected ( as you probably have seen ), so you have him to thank for this new direction!

But lets back to the main subject of this post!

To cut things short, Devlog 2 is around 60% complete!

I know it's been a couple of months since I've promised it ( almost a year in fact ), but due to the previously established issue, we decided it was best to focus on producing the game itself and making sure all the themes we want for the project actually get through with no interference in both the gameplay and story, while leaving the marketing to the side.
( The post is literally all written out and prepared, we just need the final images and video to show it off )

The good news is that the only part left is finishing off some very specific models, because outside of that, everything else is basically done! ( Outside of textures ). And the rest should be easy enough to do. So expect some news soon if progress goes according to our schedule.

As for the 1000 followers surprise, it has been chosen and is being worked on as we speak. Ironically enough, we think this might be the best part of Devlog 2, considering what it shows! But you'll just have to wait to see...

Right, I'm gonna stop rambling and get back to work on the surprise.
