as you know I have been working on a different shooter game recently. while making it i figured out how to make a simple system for switching weapons, this is something i will be looking into for dead doors.

The game i am making currently has projectile weapons, not my unreliable version of hit scan like in dead doors. I may take the code from this new game and adapt it for dead doors.

If i combine these two things i can make it so that you can switch from your flash light to your pistol, to your shotgun to your machine gun! This should help add more depth to the game and make shooting more reliable!

This new game is way more complex than dead doors, and I haven’t even began making any levels yet. it features several characters, each with their own unique abilities and about 9 weapons each. Dead doors will have one character with 5 weapons so the progress of dead doors should speed up immensely as all the code is there already for me!

I am not going to continue work on dead doors just yet as i still want to work on this new game! I promise as soon as i run out of ideas for this dead doors will be my number one priority!
