Today’s been, uh, really boring so far nothing too special has happened. You go to the fridge to grab a DatTaste, till Dad asks you to go get him his toolbox. Having nothing better to do, you agree.

There’s some cool things in the box, like the mask and that one Chica plush Mom got that may or may not be official.

Before grabbing the toolbox, something catches your eye—a little box with the tag MyPopgoes.

And suddenly, you start to remember… all those years ago…..

It was your 10th birthday. Dad couldn’t come to celebrate with you, as usual, but he did give you a gift and even a little note.

You open up the gift and get YOURpopgoes.

Anyway, welcome to MYPOPGOES a small little April Fools teaser thing turned into a full game. As usual, yours truly is gonna overanalyze the fuck out of everything and make sure at the end, it gets the Whitebun Seal of Approval.

As most of yall know, this game was part of fnaf's 10th anniversary celebration, but a few months later, after its first release, it got a major update called New and Improved, which overhauled a lot of the things I’m gonna be talking about. I’ll be comparing both of these versions throughout the whole review.

Without further ado, let’s start popping some weasels.

At the start of the game, we have both the main days and minigames to start with. Let’s start with the days.

The gameplay is simple, super simple, even. This is yourpopgoes, and you have to do everything in your power so that he doesn’t die from organ failure. Feed him, make him drink his magic goop, and listen to good music.

You literally only need three buttons to play: left, right, and down. You can go to the right to cook pizzas you can have a maximum of five pizzas, and eating them will keep you strong and healthy. You can go to the left for a drink to stay hydrated, and stay in the middle to consume the pizzas and listen to the music.

There's 5 days you have to do each harder than the last one, beating these obviously unlocks the other days and stickers!!!!!!!

You can put these on the toy to make look super cool and spicy here's my abomination

Look, I even added a lil whitebun in the corner it’s beautiful, isn’t it? Sniff…

Anyway, overall, the gameplay is pretty alright. It does what it’s supposed to do, and it does it pretty well. There genuinely isn’t much else for me to say about the story mode, other than the fact that Day 5 was actually kinda tuff, because all the settings were to max, making it very hard… by MYPOPGOES standards at least. We beat it, and get another cutscene.

Bonnie stops daydreaming and finally gets the tool box for fritz till oh oh.....

Well uh...... that sure happened...... i guess i'll talk about the other stuff now like uh endless mode!

Endless Mode’s about what you’d expect you play the game, it’s Day 5 but endless! With modifiers to spice things up. Originally, these modifiers were in the Story Mode section, but got moved here ‘cause why the fuck not! Let’s talk about them.

First up, Sticky Floor. Every now and then, your feet get stuck to the floor simply mash buttons to get them out.

The next one is Time Bombs, where, again, every now and then, bombs show up. You just gotta stay away from them to survive.

The next challenge is Mini Pizzas. You can cook pizzas much faster now, but they barely fill the bar so, uh, make sure to get lots of ‘em.

Next up is Caffeinated, where the drink bar corresponds to your movement speed. Yeah, that’s about it.

And finally, for the last one, a quarter of the bars is now hidden stressing you out more. Oh, uh… lame….

Beating all these challenges gives you stickers and some lore notes. But before that, there were two scrapped modifiers that I’ll just quickly bring up.

The first one is Expiring Pizzas, where you guessed it the pizzas expire. You already eat the pizzas pretty fast, so, uh, not really a threat. The other one is Coin Collect, where you had to collect 10 coins. That’s, uh, about it really. I can definitely see why these got scrapped, but whatever.

Onto the lore notes.

I really like the fact that Bonnie was the one who came up with Popgoes and the gang, and not Fritz. It makes it, idk, more unique, I suppose?

Also, world building YES YESSSSSSSSSS I fucking love world building.

Onto the next batch.

Really cool that characters like Manora and Morse are properly part of the lore now, even if they’re not gonna be animatronics.

Also BONNIE HATES MORSE. REPEAT BONNIE HATES MORSE. This bitch deserved every bad thing that ever happened to him. How could you ever hate this man? He’d be a pure tumbler sexy man if people drew more fanart of him but alas, people are lazy… and I can’t draw…. I’m so sorry, my sweet baby….

Anyway….

This was CLEARLY just a teaser for Graveyard Shift at Freddy’s. I mean, come on it just makes sense.

Also, again, nice world building. Gimmie more of dat shit, pretty please.

Now it's time for my favorite part of the game the minigames!

We got five of them beating each of them once unlocks a character cartridge which you guessed it replaces Popgoes with someone else.

It's pretty simple see what fish you need to catch and well catch it!

Originally you only had to catch 20 fish but the update made it so that you now have to catch 24 the last one being a beeg boy.

Next up is Topping Juggle. It’s like that one Game & Watch game, where you have to make sure the things don’t fall.

It’s super easy put the trash in the trash bag and put the food items in the oven to make an amazing pizza.

Next up we got my personal favorite minigame longest Popgoes.

It's snake! i simply refuse to tell you how snake works nuh uh use your brain

For the next one we got pest control.

Just press the arrow keys for the bugs—super simple.

And finally, we got… Whack a Rabbit.

Wait WHAT? What the FUCK??? Whack a Rabbit????? You mean Whack a Bun? Oh hell naw I’ve officially become Darth Vader and executed Order 66 on all the Buns. I’m a bastard…. Anyway…

In this illegal ahh minigame, Popgoes grabs a hammer and brutally murders innocent Whitebuns.

Around the halfway point morse and his goons show up to arrest popgoes for his sins against the bun species.

But alas they get murdered too popgoes officially has a kill count of 128 creatures making him one of the biggest serial killers of all time.

Now doing everything getting all the stickers cartridges doing the minigames and all the endless mode stuff causes something weird to happen.....

The screen zooms super close to Freddy's place until....

Oh mah gawd bruh, for the first time ever in FNaF history, we get “official” Unwithereds!!!!!! I love this reveal so much. Yeah, it’s not related to Evergreen at all, but still super cool.

before we wrap up the review there's one last thing we need to talk about..... there are secrets in the minigames and doing them well reveal something very very interesting let's start

in the fishing game sometimes there'll be a glitch on the floor if you hit it you'll get uh bbs head...

in topping juggle keep pressing left at the start to get toy freddy

for longest popgoes another glitch wall will appear after a certain point going inside it you can get toy chicas head

in pest control hold all the buttons at the start to get mangles head to show up

and finally for whack a rabbit stall the rabbit for as long as you can till toy bonnie shows up

doing all this unlocks the final super secret diary page

and yeah that was everything the game had to offer so overall what do i think of the game i definitely like it a lot it's not a perfect game by any means but it is a really cute and fun one my only real gripes with the game are that the secret ending with the toys was kinda lame and that i wish there was way more content but that's about it it gets a solid 7.5/10 from the bun thanks for reading and see yall on the flipside!
