Fangame Direct 2 was great! Great as in, a great way to show miscommunication in a team environment.
I have never seen a more uncoordinated event, I wouldn't call it a disaster, but so many factors went wrong.
1st Fumble: Wrong Trailers
As y'all may or may not know, 4 trailers from the event were not correct, these being Bondee's Barnyard, Twister's Terror, Virus J: Chapter 2, and Spikes Ahoy. This is not too bad, but it's still a big let down to the trailer's creators.
2nd Fumble: Quality Control
If y'all weren't aware, the whole reason this event wasn't application based like last time was for quality control... which they STILL had issues with...
Five Nights at Obama's 5 may have seemed funny in concept, but it was SO off putting, like, putting that between 2 serious trailers really broke the mood.
3rd Fumble: Underwhelming Lineup
This is not a complaint to the devs themselves, it was the fault of Direct for not including more games that were taken in a darker tone, I would've loved to see, for example, some FNaF games by newer devs, those devs are extremely promising, and deserve a platform.
Say anything you want abt me in the comments, not gonna change my opinion: FD2 was a perfect example of how not to host a fangame event.
