So firesides shut down sometime ago, boohoo.

That was because of the high cost to keep running firesides.

Solution: bring back the old firesides (no live stream, just chatting and the ability for fire to extinguish.)

It surely would not be that pricey to run firesides that way, right?

Yes, Game Jolt forced people to stream sometime after the live stream feature came out cuz “group chats exist” but with bringing back old firesides, people can still communicate with their community!

People like ME begged for streaming in firesides when firesides originally came out, and when it did, people had a lot of fun! Still, without the streaming portion, someone can communicate with their fanbase more better!

Group chats work more as a source for friend groups.

The firesides can be a way for a fanbase of someone or something to come together!

Streaming isn’t needed for that. People loved firesides before streaming started to exist.

Firesides can still do good!

If this idea does come to fruition, be happy! Yes, there won’t be streaming, but at least firesides EXIST!!

I felt the peak of Game Jolt communication came with firesides. People got on more because of firesides! (Yes, quests and charge exist now, and people like me get on for that, but I’m focusing on firesides here.)

With charge/charged stickers, people can maybe make a fireside “fire-charged” or something so a fire doesn’t extinguish fast! There can still be a lot done with firesides without the streaming portion!

That’s all I have to say. Streaming would be sweet, but the ability to at least communicate to a community better is good enough for me.
