My newest project: Sister Location Super Custom Night!


Hey everyone, its been a while since I've actually done anything on here, and I know I said I would likely be done here, but it turns out I'm pretty bad at making good on my own word.

Introducing: Sister Location Super Custom Night, A new game that is built from the ground up that replicates (as well as improves in some areas) Sister Location's Custom Night DLC that came out for the game. This game is very similar to FNAF 1 and 2 UCN but with a lot more effort put into every bit of the game (and also sucks a bit less to play hopefully).

This game is meant to mark my return to game creating on this site, which means this is not a one and done just for funsies, albeit the stretch between titles is gonna be a lot longer due to me not having as much time to make stuff anymore. This is more of a hobby for me, and I intend to keep it that way for now.

Included in this article is a small Q&A that should answer some small questions that might be asked so I figured I get that done first:

Q1: Why is it called Super Custom Night instead of Ultra?

Mostly because Ultra Custom Night (made by @KamilFirma ) exists now and is wayyy cooler than my stuff, so despite my games coming out before it I just decided to rename the whole thing. In retrospect I think the title fits the game better anyways.

Q2: Why is the game taking so long?

As mentioned earlier, I don't have as much free time as I once did when I first started making titles on this website. Believe it or not I have actual responsibilities now and I want to keep this as a hobby. And yes this implies there is more to come after this.

Q3: Is there any changes to the base game?

Yes, and I actually intend to go in depth on that in a separate post before release. Just know that unlike the previous entries I actually made some changes for the better this time (I hope), such as reducing a lot of RNG in the base game. Every element of the game is gonna be as balanced as I can make it.

Q4: What about @Shooter25 's FNaF SL CN?

Just to clear a thing up this game was started way before the release of that game. I have not played that game for the sake of I didn't want to copy anything they did so that my variant was as original as possible. If there are any similarities then its probably a coincidence (or the base game really needed it that badly).

Q5: Will I need Sister Location to play the game?

This time, yes. It's something that I should've done with previous titles, but you will need a copy of the base game installed to play this title. Reasons should be extremely obvious.

Q6: When will it release?

As you may have noticed, the game doesn't have a release date in the teaser, and I don't intend to give a release date until the game is actually done. I had a bad habit in the past where I released a game too quickly and it ended up being very buggy on launch, so I'm taking extra time to make sure its ready before release.

That should be it for now. Hopefully you all don't mind waiting on this one for a while and I'll try and finish this one as soon as I can. Again, there is going to be more posts over time that should give more info about the game and I this time plan to be far more technical about it. I won't spoil much but I really want this game to reflect the quality of future titles I make going forward. If there are any extra questions I will likely answer them in a separate Q&A post.
