New gameplay screenshots on the way! Plus a look at the main menu, won't be too different from what we're used to.

I think it may be a good time to update you guys on what I've added over the past couple of days, read the article below!


(Be sure to read my first article to stay up to speed on what all has been added)

Added

  • New 16:9 Renders for the main menu (higher res of the original, near perfect match)

  • Extras Screen Renders Made

  • Toy Chica "Blackout" Sequence added (togglable)

  • Overhauled settings menu

  • You can now toggle VFX, change the main menu music, and enable/disable static. I may add even more options like this, so you can toggle how much of a vanilla experience you want, or how much of a REDUX experience you want (give me feedback!)

  • Fixed issues with the transparency of the static and how it rendered to perfectly match how it works in clickteam (it's the little things like this that really enhance the authentic experience)

  • Began updating the way the game loads. (now a short load in the main menu for all the new graphics, decreases initial lag)

  • Fixed a few tiny bugs

So what now?

  • I'm gonna fix a few visual errors

  • Tidy up the UI

  • Allow for multiple sprites to appear in the main hall

  • Add the "REDUX" branding

  • Add credits

  • Make the Extras menu functional

  • Add cheats

  • Add challenges

  • More code optimizations (like moving repeated actions within objects to functions in a script)

  • Make ??? functional

  • ???????????????

  • ??????????????

  • Add more gameplay screenshots to GameJolt

  • Add achievements

  • Create a trailer

  • Upload a public beta

I don't wanna get hopes up, but these things seem like they can be done in a short amount of time to me, so expect something coming very soon
