New MINI-DevLog #2


A lot has been done — I started working on the house.

-I created a large number of new wallpapers and reworked the frames. The old paintings were redone as well.

-I updated and finished post-process

-added the ability to disable RTX without any lighting artifacts.

-A large number of assets were updated too.

-I also decided to drop tessellation and instead made the planks/roof using polygons. This is much better in terms of optimization.

-The character - Neighbor 40% complete. His final version will be shown in the full DevLog #2,along with the entire house.

Well, progress is going really well. I truly believe that the remake of Alpha 2 will be released in October this year

ue 5 with no rtx and no lumen (wip)

Actually I kind of shouldn't show the non-rig rendering in ue5. it looks really bad on them. because it's in t-pose. I'd rather show it in full (I'll delete that post because it's a real mess lol)

So there's a problem with neighbor eye color Some people like blue, some like green. Green is just canon. I want blue.

I found a solution to this problem - use both. but in different contexts.

blue eyes - reality

green eyes - not reality.

lol it's roblox commision I'm too lazy to put signs and post this because they'll have to make a rig for it lol. I'll probably make some decent art when Place comes out.

The neighbor is almost completely done. it will be shown in full in devlog 2

About once a week I'll post something new. not everything, but some of the developments added more interaction - objects can now get dirty, also there is grass flying out, although it is not quite well seen here. #HNRTX
