Hi. Recently I’ve been interested in developing games again, but unfortunately I am having some conflicting thoughts about FNaM. I don’t want it to die, but I’m not sure how much I want it to live either. It may be apparent that my interest in the game has dwindled over the past… ages… and it reflects that inner state. There isn’t much motivation for me to put work in to a game that is going to fade out as soon as it’s released anyway (FNaF fan games aren’t exactly as popular as they were when I started this).
That’s not saying that this game is dead, or cancelled, but rather definitely postponed indefinitely- that is, I won’t be putting work in to it for a while, but eventually I will try to come back to it- it would be very sad to have to cancel the game and even if only 3 people ever play it, that might just be worth it to release it.
That aside, I’ve gotten a new name as you may be able to tell, as a kind of new beginnings. Still a solo indie dev, but I felt my previous name was… well… very 12 years old FNaF fan.
With that new name, comes a new game. It’s something I feel an urge to work on, and it will benefit me in the future too. It would mean the world to me if you could check it out, as I promise not to just sit there and let it stagnate like FNaM, but to release playable builds on a regular basis and to maintain some form of community interaction.
Thank you.
