Formerly an escaped mental patient, he came across the abandoned laboratory that hosted Timothy Marshes original venture into the cosmos. He somehow managed to activate the rift and go inside, manipulating his form and biology and turning him into an incredibly powerful entity who is constantly very slowly withering away, with the only way to even slightly stop himself from fading from existence being to eliminate sentient life across the cosmos via destruction of planets. He had the costume on beforehand, doctors who worked with him seem to suggest that he was going through some sort of delusion of being an all-powerful superhero. Ironic…
