You now have a Player Screen, where you can pick your ideal character from that will be the one that hugs the other character. There's 4 to choose from (for now), these characters might be used for more in future updates.
Clicking the little Game Jolt logo will bring up the Log In window, the player screen shares the same icon as the old log in window had in previous versions of the game.
When hugging the characters, hearts will start floating up from the bottom of the screen, while still holding down the mouse button you can drag the cursor over the hearts to collect them, giving you 1 LOVE POINT per heart collected.
