News, festivals and a quiet cry for help

Hello everyone,

Before anything else, I would like to thank you all for your support and kind words in the last few months. First of all, those of you who have played , followed, rated and commented on An Interview; your support helps me to move forward and continue making non-games. Second, the lovely team at GameJolt; it’s a truly a wonder that such a small group of people has created such a brilliant and welcoming gaming community. Third, my amazing team: Tim and Bryony for sharing their story, Lindsay for her brilliant music, Thomas for his excellent sound design and Jameela, my newly appointed producer. Last but not least, a special thank you to the YouTubers and bloggers who picked up the project and decided to make a video or write about it; two thumbs up!

And now to some news: in the last couple of months An Interview has been featured in a couple of festivals: it made a short appearance at Develop in Brighton, we were in Vienna for Radius at the end of July (and, man, what a brilliant experience that was!) and currently the project is travelling unaccompanied to Johannesburg for A MAZE. There are a couple more places that the project may show up in the near future but I cannot say anything about these yet…

During the summer break, I also found some time to fix the project file and I now have a new build for Mac and PC. The differences are minor (more about what’s happening under the hood than something visible) but I’ll be probably uploading the new version in the next week or so.

And this brings me to my last point (the cry for help, in the title of this post). Although the project is finished and out in the wild, I’ve been toying with the idea of creating a mobile version of it. Due to Uni commitments (I’m working on a VR project at the moment, come take a look at the indie section of EGX later this month!) and my abysmal coding skills, I am unable to optimise it properly and make it work. I was therefore wondering if anyone from the community is willing/able to help. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to pay but if someone wants to help, they’ll be fully credited (sorry, can’t offer much more than that at the moment). So, if anyone is interested, send me a message here and we’ll take it from there.

That’s all for now. I’ll be back here as soon as I have some news.

Very ambitious construction going on in Planet Zoo on Plays today. We're tryin'. LIVE: www.twitch.tv/dreamhackplays

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.

Hello my space friends! Now I added a space background to the ship. I love that space look but I still feel like stuff is missing. The lighting on the ship needs some improvements I think. Please tell me your opinion!
