News on Ver 0.0.2a


Greetings, mortals!

A short update on the development process regarding ver 0.0.2:

This build is much larger than I had anticipated, mostly because I’ve settled on a possible future for RUPTURED, as well as I’m implementing new features and gameplay to further your experience with the game.

What does that mean for you? Well most of what it means is that you should not expect the next version anytime within the following weeks. It’s going to take a lot of time and effort to get this build up and running, so be patient with me.

I wish you all well, and hope to see you here again when the next public build arrives.

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Regular exercise is key for healthy wings.
