most families in this day and age are on the verge of being broke or even homeless I cannot justify to my family to get a switch 2 for that reason I cannot physically make my mother drop 80USD (or however much it will be in the uk) because I know that we need that for basic needs such as food or bills and so many other parents have the same problem

it’s never been so easy to boycott a company because no one can afford 80USD on Mario kart world when they can get Mario kart 8 for cheaper

nintendo being on board for all digital games is disturbing aswell because you don’t own the games the money doesn’t go to retailers it goes directly to the company, if physical games die then those retailers do aswell and I like owning physical games as much as I love Nintendo games I mean I named my old persona after splatoon for fuck sake this shouldn’t be the norm for the gaming industry the fucking quality of game chat isn’t good you could just go on discord instead of paying to use gamechat (a button on a console is PAYWALLED)
