Well, it's been a while since there have been any devlogs, and it's time to fix that. First of all, I want to say that:


THE ENTIRE STORY OF CHAPTER 1 IS COMPLETE

Yes, I've been working on the plot all this time and have completed it. All that's left is to write a few small dialogues, translate them into English, and implement the plot itself in the game in the form of cutscenes, battles, and mini-games, and their various variations depending on which way you play through the game.

To be honest, I've never been so busy with the plot of the game, and I'm a little worried, considering that I was given to understand that the plot is the weakest part of Act I. But on the other hand, considering that there was only an introduction, it's probably okay, considering that many things can be revealed more globally in the following acts, and all of them are included in one big chapter anyway.

Besides that, I also worked on animation and drawing sprites and tiles, as well as creating a couple of new game mechanics.

And besides everything else, I need to make a lot of other sprites, animations, soundtracks, sounds and much more.

I also have a little bit of ideas for the next chapters, although I don't see any point in starting to implement them if the first one isn't yet completely finished. Well, this is just in case someone wants a continuation, and a certain part of the material for it already exists.

In general, the best thing is, of course, to come up with something and draw it, it is more difficult to implement it in code, but even this is okay. It's much worse when you have to mess around with some old problems in it, and they have not been solved for a long time. Although even with this, I figure it out over time, by pure chance. (Often this happens to me, such a basement programmer I am)

Anyway, that's all for now, I guess. I hope to make a new trailer in which you can see in more detail what awaits you in the new acts, and I will continue to work on the game itself in my free time from school, as always. And since we're talking about it, good luck to many of you in the new school year, I hope you had a great summer and have a lot of great memories from it!

I'm alive, I haven't disappeared anywhere, I'm still making Normenhill, but sorry that this time again there is no devlog for June.

So today marks the 10th anniversary of one of my all-time favorite games and the one that changed my life for the better - Undertale. I want to wish the author, the game Toby Fox, and the entire fandom all the best and thank you all for being there!
