Hello everyone. It's been almost a year since the first trailer came out (crazy huh?) and barely any updates, if not at all, for the game have came out; and for that, we'd like to give an apology for our lack of transparency for the progress of the game. To be completely honest, a lot of factors in the background have been affecting the course of the game's development, such as school and jobs taking up a good chunk of our time and not allowing as much time to be spent on programming and developing assets for the game.
Rest assured we have been working on V since the first trailer, and we're making sure its a game that everybody can enjoy. In doing this however we have spent a good chunk of development rehauling and designing our own system and framework for the game to rest on. Which, prior to trailer 1, the framework was very messy and wasn't ideal for what we were attempting to do. Hence the long rehaul.
We're proud to say that as of now, a majority of the new framework is completed. While this was a very big step for us this is only the beginning, roughly speaking we're about 1/3 of the way done with development. Unfortunately because of how much more focus there was on fixing the codebase, not a lot of visual work has been done and there still isn't a lot we can show off. But one thing we can show off is how the weapons function in the game as the bulk of visual work done for a brief period has been on the weapons. Video can be seen above.
From this point forward we intend to be more transparent and will provide more updates in the coming months.
In the mean time, we have published a new game, Five Nights at Keemstar REBORN as an appetizer for things to come.
Thank you for everyone who has followed the game so far. And we are excited to show off more. THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE #V
