The jump bug was fixed. Turns out that not all of the sprites were centered properly, causing the sprite to reset itself whenever certain actions were done (ie. Jumping was centered at the top left, causing the top left to be what was centered in the floor collision code in the programming, hence why the jump always went to the left middle of the previous object). Then, I cleaned up the walking animation and the general look of the character (through the import, some of the lines got really bold, making him look blocky).
A gun was also added to the game, so that I can add a more diverse mob-cast (some will be taken care of through jumping on top of, some being shot, some having both). Because of this, I decided that I would not add a melee option to this game for now, however, this might be revised later with the addition of extra characters, boss creation, etc. That being said, the terrible trope of the first level shall be : Horrible Team Dynamics.
Iβve also started on the dialogue, which will be animated into the final product.
With that, I plan on learning a new bit of code to give myself a dynamic camera that places our hero in the center much like most platformers. I wish to do this so that I can start on a true level design. After which, I can design the mobs and puzzles in the level, so I can move on to the next one. Hopefully I can implement that over the next few days.

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.
I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. π₯³
I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?
In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
a drawing I did because I was boredπͺ. But I love how it turned out.π
