happy halloween!
was hoping to show off the new office prototype in game, but as per usual godot was being difficult again.
definitely still needs more props and improvements to textures (not that anyone could really tell with how terrible gamejolt compression is); that should be done soon-ish .
anyway, enough self-critiquing and onto some of the actual mechanics within the office (so far).
hiding under the desk has been replaced with hiding in a locker to the right (which i have just realised is out of frame in the render, i am an idiot ).
there is a pc on the desk which can be used to view cameras and complete tasks, and if you're wondering, every camera has a use and won't be completely cosmetic.
to the left, there is a gate which must be opened and closed by holding buttons on the control panel located on the wall.
there are more mechanics in the office, but i unfortunately cant tell you as of right now without completely spoiling other mechanics. speaking of, if all goes well the next post should be displaying one of the core gameplay features that i'm really excited to show all of you. i think you'll all certainly find it interesting.
