One thing I do wish to state about UTBB is the terms of "Canonicity".


Undertale Brave Beginnings will never be canon to Undertale. It is a fan project, meaning it will never become an official part of Undertale's story. UT prequels period will never be canon to Undertale because the developers of Undertale will never make. All I can do is comply as much as I can with the source material as much as I can while putting in my own original spice.

I feel like some people don't understand that this applies to UTY as well. UTY isn't canon to Undertale, it's fanmade. No matter how much it complies with the story, it will never be canon. It's fine to HC it just don't treat it as fact to diss on other takes of the soul. Or any other soul take for that matter.

Let games be their own thing away from UTY. It doesn't have to follow in its footsteps. Let the project make it's own path. And we'll see where it takes us.
