Oops. (bi-weekly devlog 2)


Hello world!

Yeah I’m a tad late but there isn’t much to talk about either way.
But WHY?!?!?!? Two things actually. Overwatch Open Beta, and school, much school….
So then, what have I been doing?

First and formost, a quick overview of things I did a few weeks back, but withheld them due to the fact that I was unsure if I would pan out. There’s another item tier! I won’t share any specifics, but just know that there is a handful of high tier items that will most like break the game and need to be balanced :D
Also from before last log, Arena 3 has had a few additions with more to come. Possible details later…
DeathRow has been the primary focus recently. Actually, I’m explicitly avoiding adding any substantial content until I have all the little details added so I don’t need to multitask that much. As you can imagine, it’s dificult to re-design things. Exspecially since you already have a way you think it should look. So the process has been slow, but steady, and effective when I do make progress. The primary detail added is the shop!

That’s the sort of detail I’ve been looking into. The character select screen is next, and I think I’ll hide that until the update is live… I also have the new thing to add to deathrow. I might cut it at this point in favor of another idea i’ve been recently kicking about in my head, but we’ll see.
I’ve also been wondering about character variance. IE: interchangable attacks for different characters. It’s something I might finish, but it isn’t currently a priority.

So thats been this bi-week. Here’s hoping I can have a consistant schedule…
