Opera GX Game Jam Theme Revealed!


“A small spaceship is lost in the vastness of the cosmos. The crew's task? To recover stolen WIFI!”

We know you have all been waiting for this, and here we are - the main theme for the Opera GX Game Jam is… UFO! Will you join the light side and help the brave crew of the UFO find their WIFI? Or… perhaps you’re more interested in stealing it and becoming a part of the dark side? 

Use the short story we wrote as an inspiration for your game - who stole the WIFI? Will the crew succeed in their mission? Who are they? And who let the dog in!? Is that an Easter egg…?

You have the time until Friday, August 13th at 11:59PM (Pacific Time) to upload your game to Game Jolt, so don’t wait!
