OPZ 0.4 Notes

Dev Note: " This update was in development originally right after version 0.3 around 2 years ago. However due to covid and computer issues i had to stop work on OPZ. I luckily still had those files, so i've took the time to work on the update again and finish it. I wanted to get this version out there because it improves on various areas of the game that just didnt work properly in the old version. E.G: Zombie pathfinding. Because this update was in development so long ago, i dont have all the update notes for what i had done back then, so the changes listed here are just the ones i could remember or have recently done for this update. As always, thank you for playing ! "

General Changes:

- Improved post processing of world map.

- Added background music playlist.

- Updated Main Menu Design.

Zombie Changes:

- Now correctly path find to the player, no longer randomly getting stuck on each other.

- Removed health bar.

- Removed damage numbers.

- Increased attack damage from 30% HP > 35% HP.

- Decreased movement speed by 20%.

- Improved audio.

- Portal sound is played on zombie spawn.

- New loot drop > Bonus Money ($300)

Inventory Changes:

- Changed background image.

- Reduced red background colour intensity. 

Weapon Changes:

Law changes:

- Various weapon stat changes (magsize,damage) ect..

- Reworked perk "Luck of the draw" Now randomly overflows the magazine to even higher amounts and increases fire rate when reloaded from empty, scales from tier 1 > 4.

WazerWifle:

Decreased laser projectile brightness.

Reenabled firework explosions on death.

- Lasers fired from wazer wifle now change colour.

- Projectiles now fire from the weapons muzzle.  (NOTE: if zombies get to close this can stop the weapon from doing damage.)

Inferno:

Ashes to ashes perk:

> On tornado kill, refunds 1 ammo if tank size is lower than 9

> On inferno kill, refunds 2 ammo.

- Fire rate reduced from 0.1 to 0.2 (Lower is faster)

- Lowered sound fx.

- improved projectile fx consistency.

Player changes:

- Health regeneration speed decreased (35% slower)

- Double jump removed

- Improved dash ability (Left alt)

Map:

Changed reforge machine model and vfx.

Heya! I wanted to show some gameplay progress i made so far. I hope you like it ^^

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Horror WIP A track that will be featured in a future horror game soundtrack! Stay tuned!
