Silence. Nothing but Aeres, crouching and thinking. Suddenly, a light rose behind him. A light so bright it could blind any other being. Aeres tensed.

"What do you want from me, this time?", asked Aeres.

The light observed him.

"You know I'm still upset, Eola. I.."

"You ought to not talk to that other deity.", replied it.

Aeres frowned.

"I plan on not letting it bother me, don't worry."

"You will not succeed. Depart from him before your nature changes.", said Eola, its voice booming.

Aeres jumped to his feet, turning to look at his brother.

"You never trust me! I'm tired of you and your predictions! Tired of you and your damn all-knowing eyes!"

The bright being stayed still, staring.

"𝔖𝔞 ℑ ð”ąð”Ĩð”Īð”ē𝔎ð”Ĩð”ą. 𝔄 ð”Ēð”Ļð”žð”ąð”°ð”Ķ𝔊." ["As I thought. A mistake."], echoed it, eyes narrowing.

He saw red. Had Eola called him a mistake *again*?

"That's enough!"

He lunged forward and tried to get a hit on him. Sadly, his shadows did nothing but pass through the taller being's aura. His anger grew. He kicked, grunted, hit, bit.. Each attempt landed in the air.

A warm light suddenly envelopped him, as each of his limbs got trapped by some light ropes. Eola looked at him, waiting for its aura's effects to work. Aeres's body relaxed despite his will.

"Stop that.. You always want to control everything!..", said he, his tone softer.

He slowly blinked, his body trembling under his last effort to stay awake. He glared at his brother, but, not having the strenght to keep his eyes open, he resorted to closing them, thinking of his new enconter with the deity named Orfeas, before his mind went blank.

...

He blinked. Slowly. He rolled over and fully opened his eyes. He sat up. How long had he slept? The room was lit by a strange and unnerving light. He sighed. Eola was there.

"You know I hate when you do that.. It makes me feel numb."

"You did not give me a choice.", it replied.

He grunted.

It turned into its physical form.

"Aeres, as your creator, I tell you that you truly should obey me."

"No, I will not. I mean, I will, but not to everything."

He stood up and took a few steps, wincing.

"Erk, this feels terrible."

Eola reached out and took his hand. Aeres pulled back.

"Don't touch me, bastard. I'm going back to earth."

He teleported away.

...

"You know, I always felt alone."

Eola sat down by the lake of lights and life.

He took a huge rock and turned it into a clay-like material.

"It is why I made Aeres."

Touching the clay with bare hands, he formed curves and sighed.

"And each of you. But you soon will know that, mh?"

He caressed the clay, his robe moving with each of his movements.

"My child.. How I wish none of you would grow old."

He shed a golden tear and observed his sculpture, before grabbing a light from the lake.

"My dear, dear little child.."

He put the light in it.

"I grant you life."

He turned away as the figure disappeared slowly, sipped the dark lake sitting besides the lake of life. Once it was gone, Eola fell silent.

He had talked to noone but himself.
