My new top-down shooter, Paint The Floor Red, is out now with a suggested donation. I worked really hard on it, so I hope you at least consider donating. That said, I decided to remove the $5 paywall because I wasn’t very happy with the way the game was turning out. I’d feel bad promoting a game and telling people to buy it when I know I wouldn’t. My goal was to keep adding to the game until I felt like it was worth $5, but I think there are problems with the game that can’t be fixed without the game being completely reworked, and it might be reworked in a potential sequel. I’ll use this game to gauge interest. I also decided to close my Patreon page, as I now realize Patreon is an odd choice for a developer making paid games. The Patreon still exists, but I won’t be promoting it and there are no rewards.
