FULL DESCRIPTION OF THE CREATURE:

The creature is made of wood. Its whole body is covered with tree barks and short/long twigs. Its body is tall and long but has short legs (hooves). It has long arms that can extend up to 43 ft (possibly). It has big hands with very sharp claws. Not how to describe its face (but you'll figure it out lol) Its mouth shows a crooked smile. The creature's eyes are pitch black in daytime but at night it glows like a flashlight. It can see things far up to 1.9 miles away for a better view. The creature can run up to 84 miles per hour. 

ABOUT THE CREATURE AND IT PREY TECHNIQUE:

This creature lives in a peaceful forest. Where there's no leaves and sounds at all. Because of this, the creature gets irritated by any noise heard in the forest such as animals, humans, etc. As you may think the creature doesn't have ears, it does. (only one). It has only one ear and is used to hear any noises that are miles away in or outside of the forest. If the creature gets really annoyed by any sounds nearby, it will come out of any trees it sleeps on and begin hunting its prey. If it's daytime, the creature will hide behind trees and wait patiently until its prey gets too close. Although, if the creature is hungry and doesn't hear any sounds nearby, the creature comes out of the tree and looks around for its food. If the creature spots any living environment (animals) the creature will move slowly or hide behind one tree and move to another until it is close enough. Once it is close enough, the creature starts attacking its prey and begins consumption. For humans, the creature can walk really slowly, camouflage and even climb on trees. If the creature is close enough towards the human, it will attack and kill the human. If a human is running away and hiding from the creature, it's no use. 

WEAKNESS:

The creature's only weakness is being burned alive. (Since you know the creature is made of wood) But don't think it's too easy. If the creature spots a fire on the ground, it will walk away from the fire and move on to a different tree that's far away from the fire. If you tried to burn one tree, the creature would pop out and kill you immediately. A grenade could possibly kill the creature. Because the creature could easily be distracted by an object fell on the ground. If the creature doesn't react soon enough, the grenade will  explode and the creature will catch on fire. Although, one single grenade won't kill the creature entirely. If you have 2-3 grenades, the creature might have a chance to survive. If you have 4-5 grenades, the creature might possibly die. If you have 6 or more, the creature doesn't stand a chance to survive. It will die. Unless you throw the grenades one by one. 

Be safe and don't go to any quiet forests at all cost.
