Thank You Card
Hey everyone,
It’s hard to believe, but Paraplegia officially has hit 1,000 followers! Time has really flown by. This past year hasn’t been easy; it’s been filled with setbacks that slowed down production in ways I never expected. Between the car crash, being fired illegally that followed, and my battle with cancer, development was hit harder than I could’ve imagined. Honestly, if none of that had happened, the game might already be fully released by now.
But that’s life, you never know what it’s going to throw at you. Through all of it, I’m just thankful that this game is still alive and moving forward. I’m proud I didn’t let those setbacks take me down, because if I had, you wouldn’t even be reading this devlog today.
Now, onto the exciting part. So why don’t we dive right into it, shall we?

Main Menu Reveal
We are excited to show the main menu. I love the tone of the game right from the start. The atmosphere of the menu reflects the world you’re about to step into. Small details and hidden touches make it more than just a “press start” screen.

The Bedroom
The bedroom, the main gameplay area, is now fully finished. This has been one of the toughest parts to design because it needed to feel lived in, yet also unsettling. The details, lighting, and layout all work together to build tension, and as the night progresses, the room itself feels more hostile.

Minigame Sprites
The minigame sprites are coming along great. They capture that classic retro FNAF feel but with Paraplegia’s own twist. These will show up in the game & minigames that tie deeper into the story and give players extra lore to uncover.

Questions About The Demo
#1 - Are there any unique ideas in this game that were never used in a fangame before
Yes, I’d like to think we’ve implemented some features in Paraplegia that are pretty unique compared to other FNAF fangames. I don’t want to give away too many spoilers since I want to keep the game a surprise. All I’ll say for now is that the game takes a lot of inspiration from Into the Pit.
#2 - Is this game the beginning of your own lore/story or part of the main timeline?
I’d say it’s about a 50/50 split. The game does take elements from the original FNAF lore, but enough changes are made that it feels practically fresh. Only the core concepts and very basic lore are used as a foundation for this game.
#3 - What inspired you to make Paraplegia/animatronic/location designs?
What inspired me to make Paraplegia goes way back. When I first came up with the idea, it was supposed to be a small side project, just a simple sit-and-survive experience. At the time, I was working on a much bigger project with my former co-director and writer, Weshk,
If anyone has questions about that project, it’s currently on hold, and I’d like to keep everything under wraps until I’m confident enough to make an official announcement.
As Paraplegia continued to develop, I decided to add a story and give the game far more depth than it originally had. What started as something small slowly turned into a project I really wanted to fully invest in.
Closing Thoughts
I just want to say thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to check out this game page. Your support genuinely keeps my motivation alive. Never in my life did I think Paraplegia would become what it is today, especially after everything that happened in 2025. You all are truly amazing, and I’m incredibly grateful for every one of you.
Without your support, this game honestly would’ve been canceled over a year ago, back when I was first diagnosed with cancer. I also want to give a massive thank you to my incredible dev team for standing by me during some really rough times and continuing to work on this project completely free of charge.
