Choosing who to represent FNAF 2 was actually a little challenging! At first, I was planning on choosing Toy Freddy (for obvious reasons) but I KNEW that would be too biased and I didn't want this to just be ALL Freddy's. I then thought about Withered Freddy (since he IS iconic and is on the icon for the game), but for the same reasons above, this was scrapped. Withered Bonnie was also a good contender, but in the end, I decided to go with The Marionette since she has the most relevance to the lore and is JUST iconic enough so that she could represent the game on her own. It's better to throw a fast one than to play it safe ALL the time!
Welp, we've made it to what is TO THIS DAY, my all-time favorite FNAF game. Yeah, in case it wasn't obvious by my Toy Freddy profile, I REALLY love FNAF 2. While FNAF 1 was my introduction to the series, FNAF 2 was my ENGAGEMENT with the series. Everything about the game, from the character designs to the massive expansion of lore, to the revelation that it was a PREQUEL, just enamored me. It's insane how within the span of 3 months, we went from having like 5 notable FNAF characters to over 10+ new characters made JUST for this game. While FNAF OC's existed before even FNAF 2 came out, FNAF 2 was what REALLY brought the fan-artists together. Now, everyone had to draw their characters' Toy, Withered, & Shadow forms, LOL! I'll never forget seeing the shock and horror on my face when I saw Toy Bonnie just sliding across my screen with his super small-ass eyes after I put on the mask because it legit felt like I was being SCANNED. While the game definitely hasn't aged the absolute best (from the fact that it's MUCH harder to beat than FNAF 1, being forced to always stay on the Prize Corner to wind the Music Box, and everything about Withered Foxy), I'll never stop loving this game. I think the difficulty actually sort of makes it stand out in a way since it's not really made to be as haunting as FNAF 1, but instead TENSE. There's ALWAYS someone in your vents, in the hallway, in the office, etc. It genuinely requires your focus, but I can understand why that might turn people off. Despite that, this game will always be my personal favorite. Hope you enjoyed this little reading session!
