Patch 1.0.2 Notes


Patch 1.0.2 will be releasing on 3rd November.
This patch contains serious bug fixes and balance adjustments.
Version 1.0.0/1.0.1 saves are compatible with this version.
To use your saves from Version 1.0.0/1.0.1, go into the game’s source folder and copy/cut the Save[Number] files to the new, Version 1.0.2 source folder.

Changes beginning with CSO (Current Save Only) means that these changes will not take effect if you are going to be using a save before this current version.


Balance Changes
(The tooltips have been altered accordingly to show these changes).

—Ally Skill—

~Pearlto Skills~
Radiant Blade

  • Can now deal critical damage.

~Bardsong/Elyswer Skills~
Swiftsong

  • MP cost has been reduced from 25 to 15.

Army’s Paeon

  • Cooldown has been reduced to 5 turns.

~Cassopeia Skills~
Magic Expose

  • Now has a 20% chance to inflict Reverse Shell.

~U’vharr Skills~
Unholy Sacrifice

  • Can now deal critical damage.

~Iris Skills~
Smoke Screen

  • The MP cost has been negated.

~White Magic~
Dispel+ has been removed from the game.

Rejuvenate
(Tooltip has been altered to say that it restores a huge amount of HP, as it is more accurate).

  • MP cost reduced from 24 to 20.

Rejuvenation

  • The charge time has been negated.

Rebirth

  • The charge time has been negated.

  • Now has a cooldown of 5 turns.

Saint

  • Base damage increased from 450 to 600.

~Black Magic~
Bomb/Avalanche/Storm

  • Base damage increased to 600.

  • The charge time has been negated.

Flare/Freeze/Storm

  • Charge time decreased to 1 turn.

Tsunami/Quake/Tornado

  • Now has a cooldown of 3 turns.

Leech

  • Can no longer deal critical damage.

~Skills~
Internal Release

  • Grants an additional turn to user.

  • Now has a cooldown of 3 turns.

Triple Combo

  • MP cost reduced from 35 to 25.

Blitz Around

  • Base damage has been changed to 300.

  • The damage formula has been changed so that most damage is determined by the user’s current ATK and, to a lesser extent, the target’s DEF and MDEF.

  • Can now deal critical damage.

—Enemy—
Tainted Forest

  • HP increased from 7000 to 9999.

  • DEF + MDEF increased from 75 to 90.

  • ATK + MAT increased from 95 to 100.

Mansion Protector

  • EXP recieved has been reduced from 3000 to 2000.

  • Has a lower chance to execute Enstone-Heal on it’s second turn.

  • Will no longer priortise Impreganble Defense first; will either
    execute Heavy Shockwave or Impregnable Defense if they are available.

Mythologist’s Familiar

  • HP has been reduced from 6000 to 5200.

  • EXP recieved has been increased from 2000 to 3000.

  • Has a lower chance to execute Enwater-Heal on it’s second turn.

  • Will no longer priortise Impreganble Defense first; will either
    execute Heavy Shockwave or Impregnable Defense if they are available.

Shinryu

  • HP reduced from 28000 to 26000.

  • HP restored from Darkness Within (Shinryu), has been reduced from 5000 to 2000.

Final Boss

  • Bolster Defense + HP will no longer restore 10% of HP, but 5%.

—Equipment—

  • The amount of ATK granted by the Falcon Grip has been increased from 1 to 7.
    The amount of MDEF granted has also been increased from 5 to 10.
    The price of this accessory has been decreased from 2000 to 1000G, now selling at an amount of 500G, no longer 1000G.

Major Fixes

  • A major overlooked error wherein, after proceeding to the Tent at The Reaches of Kolan after a certain point in the main story, the sprites used for the cutscenes in the area will not dissapear, and you will be unable to exit the area due to the area being intended for cutscenes.
    The fix being: instead of sealing off access, you can now access the area as you would normally (not using the action button, but walking into the sprite in the Overworld), and the character sprites have been removed once the cutscenes have finished. You can also exit the area.

  • An issue wherein the chance that Wind Rush would inflict Wind Resistance Down was 50%, not 100%.
    The skill will now always inflict Wind Resistance Down.

  • Fixed a fatal error that would crash the game when the player attempted to enter Proof of Faith without
    Pearlto in the current battle team.

  • An issue wherein, after a certain point in the main story, the movement point situated at Upper Prevesta which leads to Lower Prevesta would only activate when the action button is pressed.
    The movement point now always activates when the player goes near it, and graphical errors with that movement point have been fixed.

Minor Fixes

  • Corrected a tooltip error on the grip accessory, Falcon Grip, which would, previously, not state it granted +3 DEF to user.

  • Corrected a tooltip error on the spell, Reverse Hasten, which would, previously, state that it reduced AGI by 15%, whereas it actually reduced AGI by 20%.

  • The tooltip of the Bardsong, Just Like Dancing, now uses correct terminology. The actual state would boost EVA by 25%, which was incorrect. It has corrected so that both the tooltip and result match.

  • The graphical error with the arrows upon level up in battle have finally been fixed!

  • The gab at Prevesta Forest is now disabled after a certain point in the main story.

  • Some spelling, missing words, and grammatical errors have been addressed.

  • A graphical error when interacting with the White Pearl at Proof of Faith, it would change colour depending on what angle you interact with.

  • Upon using the item (Bacon and Eggs) in battle, it will display the number “0” whereas HP has been restored.

Other Changes
—AREA—

  • (CSO) The design of the Great Library - Entrance area has been altered to look more natural.

  • The FieldHUD no longer automatically toggles off at Ruined Town.

—ANIMATION—

  • Upon using the item (Bacon and Eggs) in battle, it will now display an animation.

  • A unique animation for using Attack with Iris’s Knife and Bloody Knife has been added.

—SOUND—

  • The volume of the ticking sound while EXP is tallied at the end of battle has been reduced.

  • The volume of Muramasa’s animation has been reduced.
    The volume of Sparkstrike’s animation has been reduced.

  • The battle bgm for a boss in Snowpeak Plains has changed.

—CUTSCENES—

  • The wait time on a certain late game event has been reduced (name ommited due to spoilers).

  • When the game plays the epilogue, the instant text option is now automatically turned off if you already have it on in the “Game Config” settings. The wait time before the text advances in the epilogue has increased.
