Patch Notes 1.0.2


General

  • Updated the game's title in the main menu.

  • Updated some tooltips shown before the nights begin.

  • The game is now a bit brighter visually in some sections.

  • Starting a new game now requires a double-click on the "New Game" button (a tooltip explaining this appears when hovering over the button).

  • After a "Game Over" screen, you are now taken to a new screen that specifies which character (and character type) killed you and how to counter them.

Gameplay & Balance Changes

  • "Power Off" Mechanic Rebalance:

    • The Shade's killtimer is now paused while the player is actively defending against it using the appropriate mechanic.

    • The flashlight's battery capacity has been reduced from 2500 units to 2000 units.

  • The battery duration on main nights now decreases by one hour every two nights (with continuous use):

    • Nights 1-2 --> until 4 AM.

    • Nights 3-4 --> until 3 AM.

    • Nights 5-6 --> until 2 AM.

  • The cooldown delay after pressing the SHIFT or P key (or when the power is restored) has been decreased from 1.25 seconds to 1 second.

  • The player can now turn off the power while under the desk.

Miscellaneous

  • Battery duration is now customizable in Custom Night.

  • The character model for "Shade Face" has been updated.

  • The game version is now 1.0.2.
