Hi! As you all might've seen with FNAF 1 SCN, I'm back and getting updates out for both the games. This one took a bit of extra time because there's a bit more to offer but its here!
This will be the last for quite a while so without further a do, let's get to the changes!
Bidybab and Freddy have been reworked at the door. Both characters now leave at a set time instead of relying on their intervals essentially.
Both characters now leave at exactly 1s. Hopefully this will improve consistency for both characters.
Ballora has been given a significant rework. Much like FNAF 1 SCN they now have a set time for when they leave the door. They also now have a rework system for moving that's more similar to that game as well. Should not feel much different, but reduces the RNG.
In case haven't seen that update, Ballora's door timer now counts up when her music is at her loudest. It's now about listening for her music and timing it instead of closing it and hoping for the best. She no longer relys on her interval for this.
Withered Bonnie now leaves the room after 2.75s. Trust me it feels surprisingly significant when playing and opens the gap further on Funtime Foxy's stalling.
Bonnet's speed has once again been reworked, this time being more dynamically calculated based on her AI. Don't worry, on 20/Hyper its the exact same, so this should not feel any different, just makes the lower difficulties more interesting.
Hyper Afton has been reworked a bit. Specifically, he now picks a random time every hour to attack instead of doing it whenever he wants. Evens out because he technically is more predictable now.
Also he's been slightly changed in regards to Bidy. If Bidy attacks when he's about to, he now delays his attack slightly. Bidy also delays their attack if Afton does. This should prevent further weird interactions with the two.
Fixed a weird bug with Funtime Freddy where very rarely his BonBon attack takes longer to bonk the door than should.
Changed the Quiet Jumpscare toggle into a 0-100 option that allows you to adjust the volume of the jumpscares to your liking. Yes, this means you can turn them off now. The ears shall now be saved.
In-game stats now properly account for hours going beyond 99.
Hovering over the best time statistics in the statistic menu for the max modes will now give you a win-counter for how often you've beaten the modes. This stat obviously doesn't track anything prior to this update but you get an automatic count if the mode was beaten already.
Added a 999999 coin reward. Yes, this is a thing. No, you don't need this to be considered 100%. It's just a silly thing I added. Trust me its not worth it if all you want is the reward.
Adjusted Lolbit's description to account for her patched in changes.
Small quality of life code adjustments that aren't really worth noting but do improve game feel slightly.
Tadaa! Far more changes than FNAF 1 SCN clearly, it definitely helps that the other game was programmed pretty well compared to this thing which is definitely a bit of a mess (but it's a mess I love all the same). This thing was made after like a 4 year hiatus and I was a bit rusty so forgive me a bit there lol.
With that, this surprisingly major update now comes to a close. I promise you all there is no v1.1.8 coming this time. The next update will be v1.2.0. And a lot of you have been waiting eagerly for this one. There's no hiding it any more, a few people have seen what is coming and its looking to be something truly special.
The time has come. An official announcement will be made later. I'll see you all on the other side.
:)
