Phobia: The Awakening Update 1.0 Out Now!

Wait. 1.0 should be release, right?

I was dumb and didn't really put a lot of thought into the version number when putting out the game. Anyway, this update is small but makes some good improvements and fixes.

-FIXES-

- Fixed an issue where sometimes the game won't save after beating a night.

This is experimental, the save data issue happened when it wanted to, so this may fix it for people or make it worse. Please let me know if you have any issues!

- Fixed the way the game loads before starting a night.

Now the game doesn't try to load every 1920x1080 camera view, renders of characters in every camera view, and so much more all at once! I didn't think of it that way when I made the game public, sorry...

- Player head movement no longer snaps to where the mouse cursor was when closing the monitor.

I only saw three people mention this issue, and I didn't know how to fix it for a long time, but it's fixed now!

-CHANGES-

- Changed the Night 6 ending screen's newspaper to have the proper location name.

It's Wiggle Pizza House. Wiggle Pizza World is the new location's name in the sequel, and I never noticed it until someone read the newspaper out loud in a YouTube video. And yes, I never noticed it even before I released the game to the public.

-ADDITIONS-

- Added in a new loading screen.

Now you can see the game is actually loading!

- Added in bars that show what vent is currently closed on the camera map.

Not a needed feature, but I felt like it was a good idea to put in anyway.

Regarding the lower resolution version of the game.

I know I've mentioned a lower quality/resolution version of the game for those who have weaker PCs, and I wanted to have that release alongside this update, but I've decided to give it more time because I would want to do more comparisons and testing to ensure it would run better for people.

As with any update, something else might have gotten weird without me noticing. Please let me know if you run into any issues!

Oh, and another thing, if you want to keep your save data after updating, the whole "Help" channel in the community page will soon have updated and also new posts to help people out on things, including how to keep your save data. Stay tuned for those!

EDIT: Here's the post!

Happy 4th anniversary to Phobia: The Awakening!

Releasing this game was a huge step out of my comfort zone, and it's been my biggest blessing and curse at the same time.

Thank you all SO MUCH for your support!

Just finished playing REANIMAL and oh my god this game was disturbing.

Loved it from start to finish and it’s up there as one of my favorite horror games I have ever played.

"You've Got Murray in Me."

Vocals and voices by me myself.

"You've Got a Friend in Me" piano song from a Disney piano collection album. I obviously did not make it as I do not contain that kind of talent.

A joke I made with @Sillylilman that turned into a good idea for a drawing

Nightmare Mark

HAPPY THIRD ANNIVERSARY TO PHOBIA: THE AWAKENING!

SHOWMAN! 1!1!1!

Happy day of completion to Phobia: The Awakening!

Giving Unreal Engine 4 another shot with a much more open mind so I don't fall into Tutorial Hell and get discouraged. So far so good! Feel quite a bit more confident in using it as of right now.

Happy birthday @itsizsgames !!!

I didn't want to miss the opportunity on drawing something for you, this is a little rushed sadly

No pranks today.

edit: nvm

Anyway have a look at the model of Mark's bedroom, which was supposed to be in other cutscenes that ended up being scrapped from Phobia: The Awakening due to a lack of motivation.
