Every cloud has a silver bullet

And I’m the werewolf that your chasing

Shoot your pistol down my gullet

No need for all the energy I’ve been wasting 

I’m a wolf in wolfs clothing 

I don’t hide behind a mask

You will know what I am loathing 

Which seems like quite an ask

For the people that hold the power,

And used to fire the shots.

Yelling “let them eat cake” from their tower

As the starving flesh beneath them rots

Weaponised incompetence is bliss

Because “we’re doing all we can”

Wars and injustice you seem to miss

This doesn’t look like ‘Gods plan’

Our politicians won’t care

If out whole society falls apart 

Though we chant their names in prayer

We’re still just numbers on a chart

Once the dystopian world comes to be

I hope we might finally re-learn

How to form a greater community 

And give faith in real humans a turn
