Welcome to another weekly POPGOES update and fanart showcase! Similarly to last week I don't have much to share visually but progress has indeed been made. Let's begin:

POPGOES Evergreen:
Lots of more rendering being done for the rooms in Evergreen. At the moment we are focusing just on Popgoes appearances in the rooms, which covers most of the rooms in the pizzeria but not all of them (like the Server Room and Car Park).
We now have renders finished for the Art Room, Party Room, Arcade Room, Kitchen, and the Prize Room (replacement for the Birthday Room in the original POPGOES). We're now working on the Parts & Service room, though we won't be rendering them out fully as there are still some minor things left to change for that environment (mostly due to textures that haven't been made yet).

Which you seemed to really like! So I've made another one, this time for the Arcade Room:
As a reminder... Evergreen doesn't have any static in the cameras to hide animatronic movement. In the original FNAF games, the cameras would be blocked by static when an animatronic needs to move in or out of a room, but we are instead doing this flickering concept. When the camera's flashlight is off entirely, something in the room can change. I think the light will also flicker passively (all the time) but only slightly. Only reaching 0% when something needs to move.
As to WHY the lights are flickering in such a high-end establishment... well, the answer is in POPGOES Arcade on Steam, which you should buy for only $4.99. And that isn't a joke.
Next, I have essentially "ordered" a plethora of models from Alexis that'll span until early May. This includes characters, props, environments. After this, it's likely he'll take over some animation work as well. As you can probably tell... there is still a lot to do here. Evergreen is still nowhere near finished, though I think I've done quite enough to keep your expectations on a release date low anyway lol. The important thing is that content is being made and that it's high quality and fun to work on. You'll eventually get to see it, and love it.
Unfortunately not much has been done by other contributors this week, hopefully it'll pick up soon.

This isn't actually in the game and it's not even fully rendered, but it looks pretty cool!
POPGOES Arcade:
The Arcade mobile ports seem a LITTLE more promising this week. Clickteam has helped with the shader issues and we may have some luck with it. I will try to be as transparent as possible with this so that you know a general gist of how long it'll take to release.
I watched (and took part in, a bit) a playthrough of POPGOES Arcade on YouTube this week and was surprised at how many people in the comments hadn't played the game purely because they don't have a PC. That's unfortunate, obviously, but I suppose it's also a good sign for the future of the mobile ports.
What about you guys - Have you been unable to play POPGOES Arcade due to not having a PC? I've added a poll to this devlog so you can share your answer!
Other:
There has been some progress with Team Fortress Future, my Team Fortress 2 side project. I have recently commissioned the very talented OverlordLettuce to design some entirely new classes for TFF. It's also their birthday today, so maybe send them some support - they make incredible concept art for workshop items, with plenty of their contributions being added to the game itself.
I've already received some content from OverlordLettuce and it has seriously impressed me. Very excited to share more!
On another note, the game Deep Rock Galactic has invaded the lives of me and my friends, including some other Evergreen devs.... Though I've done my best to ensure it doesn't interfere with game development.
It's a great game and it's on a discount at the moment! I am considering doing some streaming later this year and I can imagine this being a cool thing to play and talk about.
You should also let me know if there are any other kinds of videos or streams you'd like to see from me, because I think I'll be delving more into YouTube regardless. Any topics in the community? Games to play? POPGOES content to cover?
