Ok, that wasn't exactly the reception I signed up with at all. In a way I feel a little bad for participating in the event in the first place.
It's not because of people trashing some of the games that were displayed, but because of every comment that was getting more and more toxic.
Seeing evidence of the owners not being very sensible has kinda set me back a bit.
I am sorry to those of you who had to be involved in that, it really wasn't the nicest thing in the world and no one should have to deal with that, no matter what you are or where you are from.
Picking up on what @Ultranite said "To the two main leaders of the event, you should be INCREDIBLY ashamed of yourselves for the way you were treating the people who put their spare time and effort into these trailers." I do agree with it, it is genuinely disgusting to have to know that you've worked with those kind of people for an event made for clout chasing.
But does this effect Overnight at The Bar's progress in going forward? Absolutely not. The only sad thing is that I had little to no assets prepared for my game at the time and had to rush something together and even for a teaser, it did look terrible.
But I am taking this as a step forward. I only wished to show what I was capable of and so did many others. And that's what it's all about.
