Printed Mars on STEAM?

So, i showed the game at A MAZE indie game fest open screens and also on BelinGameScene.com event. Got a lot of feedback. I know what I have to fix in the game to make it easier to play.

Things like:

  • more visible teleports between locations

  • following camera

  • maybe full keyboard controls

  • waypoints. so the player is not gonna stuck in things.

  • more content + fix some scripting

  • so on

To fix all these things i’ll need quite a lot of time. and I’m thinking is it worth to fix all these issues and go to steam with the game, for example, or it’s not worth it and I can just write another game.

It’s a big question for me because i’m broke and I really need $ to make another game. Even this game I planned to write for mobile - and that’s why it has these kind of controls (which are quite strange for PC). but in the end I never could afford to buy iphone or ipad… so i decided to at least finish the game for PC.

So, what do you think, is it worth it to polish Printed Mars and try to go to STEAM or i shud just make another game?

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

Here's a Fredbear sprite i made in Aseprite! I'm pretty proud of this!

(Btw, sorry for the double post! I'll try to post less)
