I hate myself for making that title.
Anyways, hello everyone and happy No Longer Halloween! I hope you enjoyed the spooks that other games gave you (since my game isn't out) and if you didn't then I hope you enjoyed the candy. Anyways, enough beating around the bush, how about I treat you all with a progress update! I may not have a lot of info but it has good news...and a lot of it!
I've fully gotten the intro extension all planned out and I've even gotten part of it programmed out. It's not much of a spoiler anymore to say that you'll be able to play your dreams now! Think of it as those DSAF 2 minigames that you get at the end of each day but with
lessimpact on the plot. Don't worry, Dave and/or Scott can't get you in your dreams.I plan on changing the plot up a bit so the Ren'py build or the build that is currently out when I'm making this post is now officially non-canon unless you see some parts of it weasel their way into the full RPG Maker version. Now that isn't a reason not to pick up the Ren'py version and play it (after all I am planning on releasing a FINAL update to that version) because the RPG Maker plot is using the 'skeleton' of the Ren'py build's plot.
To build off what I literally just posted in number 2, I am planning on picking up Ren'py one last time and to finish up the unfinished build so you all get to play something unique until the RPG Maker version comes out. Now what to expect in the new Ren'py build is a slight remaster of a few things and a complete first day throughout both routes. Now since VoiceForge loves to be a dick, I might not be adding any new Dave voice lines....but that's ok cause that means I can get more Dave voice lines in the RPG Maker version.
Now as the last thing here, you might be wondering, a Gif? What's a gif got to do with a progress update..? Well...
Actually you're totally right, what the hell does a gif got to do with a progress update?
Anyways, that wraps up this progress update! To make a long story short: Extended Intro, Plot rework, and Final Ren'py demo in progress.
Until next time, keep playing DSAF 1/2/3 to vent your frustrations that this isn't done!
