I didn't realize a month had already gone by!
It's been pretty chaotic in my personal life; but we're getting there! I'm in the middle of starting a new day job and moving during a pandemic; so yeah lol. I probably won't start actual daily updates until I move out on my own within the next 2 months.
This is a length process BUT! This brings way better news and expectations from this fan game!
Prior I was just going to scrape together money for models. Now I'm aiming to not only get super awesome models but also have more made just for this game! I also will be hiring 3D modelers/Animators to create environments for the game! It's basically gonna be me throwing my money into a fan game in hopes of getting serious clout. Or just losing a bunch of money but having an awesome portfolio piece. Plus just a game where we can all play as Franxx and our beloved characters!
I'll also be paying musicians for some badass tunes for the game! An epic soundtrack goes a long ways. I'm thinking some nice soft instruments with a touch of electronic for the peaceful time moments like wandering around environments such as the living house. And then some Linkin Park mixed with Combichrist badass electronic music for fights with a touch of epicness! Let me know what you doods think of that!
I'll be putting together a nice little placeholder living quarter environment for testing shortly. By the end of August I want to be able to walk around the house and enter into mecha combat. It's a pretty heavy goal for a month so it MAY not make it all the way. But damn I'm gonna push it as a solo dev!
I can go on for a super essay about the roadmap but I think just dropping the Trello board link will let you doods see everything you want live for the ultimate transparency on the project.

Updated Run Animation!!! I put a bit more time into this one and I think it's getting there! I'm new to animation so it'll take some time to get things looking nice.
We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!
