Our team has been super busy this week!

We spent the week fixing bugs and implementing requests for existing features.

Mobile App

If you haven't downloaded it yet, check it out, we built an app and you can test it before we launch. Since Google Play and (Apple) App Store don't allow us to distribute games, the Game Jolt app is designed around communities and our social features.

Just to clarify, we designed the app around our favorite platforms. We were inspired by Reddit, Discord, Twitter and TikTok. The combination of these platforms make the perfect app for our communities on Game Jolt!

So, what's new with the app?

You can now see who liked a post by long pressing on the heart.

Create a post directly from your profile! You'll now see the create button on your profile.

Tablet support! Turns out, a lot of you use a tablet and it was relatively easy for us to support it. Be sure to update your app to the latest version to get in on that Tablet supporting goodness.

*These changes will show up when your app next updates.

We didn't only make improvements on the app! We got a chance to add a few other things you might enjoy this week.

Chat

Group owners can now kick users out of group chat. Click on a member from the chat member list and see a new menu of options.

Notifications for group chat messages so you never have to worry about missing another message (including push notifications in the app)

Ability to set your notification settings for each chat.
