Q&A Livestream + New Song!


Hi guys!

Just a short update to let you all know that Emil and I had a Q&A livestream earlier today! A lot of you joined us live, but I think a few of you missed it since Dawko was also streaming at the same time. For those of you who missed it, here’s a link to the full uploaded stream!

We show off a few basics for the game, including the game’s menus, item system, minimaps, dialogue with NPCs (and multiple choice answers), and more. Here’s a preview of a few questions we answer in the stream:

Q: Is Chef Wanted a scary game?
A: The game includes a few slightly disturbing themes, but it is generally a happy game with an innocent story. It’s not a horror game.

Q: What software does everyone use?
A: Emil uses Blender for 3D modelling, Paint.NET for 2D assets, and multiple programs for coding: Clickteam, Game Maker, and a bit of Unreal. Kane uses Paint.NET for 2D assets and FL Studio for music. Sian uses Photoshop for everything (pixel art sprites and full artwork).

Q: Do you TeamEKS will make another game in the future?
A: There are no plans, especially with everyone already having plans for future projects. But if Chef Wanted does well, and people believe that Emil, Kane and Sian make a good team, then there is a chance.

Q: How is the progress on Chef Wanted?
A: Though the past week has been a little inactive in terms of development, a lot of the game is complete. The skeleton of the game is easy to add to, and we are picking up the pace again soon.

Q: When will Chef Wanted come out?
A: Though it is of course impossible to truly predict the release dates of FNAF fangames, we believe it is possible that the game will come out this month.

A new song was also revealed on the stream (technically a few, if you listen to the background of the gameplay Emil shows off) called Cooking in the Kitchen. It has been uploaded in full on the Game Jolt page’s soundtrack playlist. A special thanks to everyone who has been supportive about the music so far, it’s been really nice to see so many compliments about it!

Family band complete!

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.
