I'm constantly hearing stuff like "why only genocide route tho", "genocide route so boring", "so unfun on repeated playthroughs", and just general bad press around the Genocide Route, so I'm asking you people: What's so off-putting about how Undertale handles the Genocide Route? What could be improved on for future UT Geno-Route-focused fangames? What's so engaging about the Genocide Route? Do you think Snowgrave is a better take on the Genocide Route?

While yes, the original purpose of the Genocide Route was to intentionally be a bore to play through, that doesn't mean it was good game design. There are other ways to get your point across than to make the game worse to play.

I'm curious. I've been taking notes on what could be done for True Geno and wanted to hear more opinions, so please do share your thoughts! :)
