Should the neighbor perform defensive tasks against the player in real time or should traps be placed after getting caught?

I've started working on my own custom Animations! (Here are 2 examples) Thanks to @JoshSoundZ 
for giving me quick rundown on how to use the neighbor rig!
after caught has won! But since the voting was really close, I am going to make both, but the "after caught" part is going to be the bigger part! I also redesigned the house and layout in the mean time.
