Sup gamers, and welcome FINALLY back to a new review. It’s uh, been a while since I’ve done one of these, but that doesn’t matter right now we are BACK, and we’re gonna start with Fred and Pals, a pretty cool fnaf 1 reimagining made by Rotas.
You might recognize him for making the Popee and Buddies duology, Woppy and Friends, and, uh… that one Fangames at Freddy’s summer game I forgot the name of. But this right here is his newest game, which recently came out to an overwhelmingly positive reception, at least from what I’ve seen.
So, without further ado, let’s give it a shot!

Pretty normal stuff, though the game having achievements was pretty surprising. Though they’re just for normal stuff. Don’t got much else to say, so let’s start a new game.

Here's our office.

We can look to the left, right, and behind us.



We get a phone call by the games phone guy Dan.
Dan introduces us to this place and tells us the deep lore about it, like the fact that originally the suits were worn by actors, but now they’re worn by animatronics. He tells us the rules, blah blah blah, before jumping into the big boy stuff like the computer in front of us.
You also have this thing called the SMU, which you can use to send the characters back to their stages, though sadly it runs on potato batteries, meaning that it’ll run out after using it three times. Though, it does recharge pretty fast too.
If a character’s at your door and you don’t have enough juice to send them back, just close the gates to stall for time, then use the SMU on them.
And yeah, that’s all for tonight just keep calm and survive…
This night only one character is active that being Fluppy this games version of Bonnie.

Fluppy is super simple, he'll go down a certain path eventually getting to the storage closet.

when he leaves this cam INSTANTLY go to the left side of the room, pull out the smu, and make him go away.

Yep it's that simple and super satisfying too. also fun fact fluppy only attacks once this night so uh that's funny, fucking bozo.
And yeah, that was Night 1. Overall, a promising start it did a pretty good job of introducing you to the mechanics and never really felt confusing. So uh, onto Night 2.
On Night 2’s call, Dan asks us if we used the SMU on Fluppy or not, because this morning he was in the backroom just staring at the ceiling like a fucking bozo. Just a quick reminder: use the SMU if any of the animatronics show up in the office. Got it? Good.
This night chef Henrietta becomes active who i'll just refer to as hen from now on.

hen works just like fluppy except she goes to the right side of the office and you gotta keep watching the outside for her

when she leaves use the smu on the right side and she'll leave

And yeah, that was Night 2 again, a pretty okay introduction to the game’s mechanics. Don’t really have much to say, so onto Night 3.
Dan calls us again, saying how things have been really hectic without the head technician, who’s called Will, btw. Anyway, today they found Hen in the kitchen, banging pots together. She’s supposed to do this at day, NOT at night. Anyway, probably just a bug that'll get fixed soon.
Oh, and one last thing: Sheriff Vos. He’s gonna become active tonight and is gonna try to turn the power off. So if you ever see him leave his cam, check all the red squares around the cams, and when you see him, call him back to his room by using the space bar. Got it? Good.
This night my favorite character of the game Vos becomes active.

I already said how he works so i'm not gonna repeat myself but keep in mind that sometimes he'll go to the breaker behind you and you have to use SMU to make him leave.

and yeah that was night 3 overall a pretty good night we finally get some more camera usage and get introduced to the best character of the game don't got much else to say so onto night 4
dan calls us again saying that there was once again another incident vos cornered a mom and her poor kid so dan ended up using the smu in front of everyone to stop vos oh but don't worry right after that ANOTHER incident happened fred just stopped mid show and "oil" started dripping from his chest
when dan used to smu on fred fred got angry? so dan used it one more time and fred calmed down
so uh yeah definitely not a good look for the brand especially with the higher ups being there and seeing the whole thing
just..... stay sharp tonight alright?
this night the main man himself fred dybear becomes active

fred will come off stage at around 3 am while you can't see him in the cams you CAN hear his music and laughter eventually fred will go to the right hallway and try to attack you simply use the smu and uh ohhhhhhhhhh he's mad now

you can't use the smu now because it's charging to quickly close the gate to stall for time
whenever you hear him banging on it instantly open it back up and use the smu to make fred leave
and yeah that was pretty much it for night 4 overall again pretty fun gameplay loop especially with fred now being added i'm so glad he has the BIG SCARY EVIL mechanic it's always nice when the main guy is the big scary mf mechanic wise at least with all that out of the way let's bitch and moan about night 5

dan had a meeting with the higher ups today anddddddddd he got fired yep they fired our boy
the place is also fully closed down the only one still working there is us so uh....... bye.
no one new becomes active this night so time to give my full honest thoughts on the game and it's.... really good! like REALLY good i was not expecting to have this much fun with fred and pals but here we are! the mechanics while super simple are really satisfying to do especially fred dybears the game graphically looks great and the fact it's made in scratch and doesn't even slightly feel like a scratch game is insane the ost is also pretty neat stuff i could glaze the game more but you get my point game good bun happy :)
Onto night 6....... and uh hmm.... is that a person over there?

We actually do get a phone call this night, but it's not by dan it's by some dude with purple text..... it's HIM.
the dude yaps a lot before the night fully starts and oh dear god it really is him

Good old Springbonnie over here will wonder around the map for a while, till he eventually reaches your office and punches you in the face.

annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd now we're trapped in a springlock suit great cool awesome FANTASTIC

he yaps a bit more about trying to justify his actions till he just leaves to let you rot and die but we ain't having none of that we MUST escape

we have to reach the phone but uh oh the springs are lose make sure to stop every now and then to wind them back up.
slowly but surely we reach the phone and call the cops

but looks like we were too late and the springs break and we well fucking die! but hey! at least that joker ahh springbonnie is behind bars now so YIPPE! GOOD ENDING WOO YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
and that was fred and pals overall a pretty good fangame! i already said everything i had to say so let's just end the review already the game gets a 8/10 from me thanks for reading and i'll see yall on the flipside
