Bonnie was the third animatronic added to Fredbear's Family Diner and third iteration of the "Springlock" suit. After 1975 the owners began using the name Spring Bonnie to refer to the animatronic or Yellow Rabbit, this is due to the sister location beginning to be worked on where the character was turned blue but named the same thing. A similar situation to the Spring Freddy suit.
Bonnie was one of two suits that was supposed to walk around during the day. This is due to fears that Fredbear was too heavy too walk around so Bonnie was coded to be quite quick to responses and is heavily sound sensitive. Audiolures which mimic the sounds of children laughing often confuse the animatronic into entering the room where they are played.
The "Springlock Actor" for Bonnie is the co-owner of Fredbear's Entertainment, William J. Afton, however something that local news at the time seemed to get wrong is that William was not present during the Bite. That was replacement actor Ralph D. Mckee.
