Release 7: Alabama Preview


Release 7: Alabama is due out tomorrow, and I’m excited about its release. As you can tell from above, we have some UI enhancements.

First of all, we automatically fill in the width of whatever device your playing on. What this means is that we’re now using a 16:9 ratio as opposed to a 1:1 ratio, like before.

Second of all, we’ve added some enhancements for those who are using mobile devices, the biggest of which is a touchscreen controller.

Also, text will scale if you’re using a Retina device.

And finally, Release 7 is filled with the brim with bug fixes:

  • Fixed transperency glitches on West Ent boss

  • Added new avatar and enemy graphics

  • Fixed issue where there’s no floor under switch blocks in Abandoned Catacomb S

  • Balancing tweaks

  • Increased strength of magic missile attack

  • Nanokits only increase max HP by 50, not 100

  • Fixed spells being removed properly

  • Tweals to the marshland

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
