Heya!
It’s been a while since the last devlog. Quite a few things have happened behind the scenes, but fortunately the game is currently moving in a good direction. Progress may not have been as fast as I originally planned, but things are finally starting to feel more stable and structured.
So, let’s get into the updates.
What happened to the January Devlog?
Long story short, I procrastinated quite a bit when it came to working on the cameras. I kept delaying some of the more tedious parts, and by the time I was finally ready to sit down and write the devlog, I ended up getting sick. That obviously slowed everything down even more.
Thankfully, I’m feeling much better now, and I’ve been gradually getting back into the workflow. Things are picking up again, and I’m trying to stay more consistent this time around.
What’s the current state of the game?
Right now, the game is in a much more solid state than before, mainly because coding has officially started. Huge thanks to @FnafGames360
, who is now the coder of the project and has been helping bring everything to life.
The cameras are almost finished at this point. Most of the core functionality is there, and only a few smaller details and adjustments remain.
What's next?
Once the cameras are fully completed and polished, character artwork will begin production shortly after.
After that, development should move much faster, as the most tedious and foundational part will finally be out of the way. When the characters are done, the demo will officially begin production.
I know I previously mentioned aiming for the anniversary release, but as you’ve seen, that didn’t happen. This time, I’m focusing on making sure things are done properly so there won’t be any estimations for now.
Goodbye!
Sorry this devlog ended up being a empty in terms of previews, but there just isn’t enough fully presentable content yet. I’d rather wait until there’s something more solid and polished before showing anything.
For now, that’s all I have to share.
See ya!
