Rickenbacker 325c64 #3Dmodel #guitar

I decided to recreate my favourite guitar in a 3D software for fun, and here are the results!

Rickenbacker

The Rickenbacker 325 is definitely my favourite top-tier guitar model, very big fan

It was a huge hit back in the 60s, with its retro look and sound. It has a quite unique body shape, covered with a glossy lacquered black color for the body and head, a similarly lacquered wooden neck, and white pieces of plastic for the head and pick-guard, and 3 humbuckers.

The gear mostly gained its fame due to the fact that it was the guitar Lennon used in The Beatles in their early Rock and Roll era.

Modeling the guitar

I spent about 10 hours on this model. I tried to be as accurate as possible: lots of small details and realistic textures.

First of all, I searched for a model blueprint, I found one that wasn't exactly the model I was making, but it had a very similar design. Then, I got most of the references from a guitar review video where they took the Rickenbacker apart and showed most of the pieces separately. For small details and accurate textures, I used this website, they made tons of high quality wonderful closeup shots!

I'm super happy with the result! Enjoy some other pics:

Who knows, maybe Triffor will get this guitar instead of his old one. I'm sure he'd love to have it hehe...

Making process

Here are a few of the many pics taken while working on it:

Unfortunately I can't afford one as of now, but it's definitely on my list of stuff to get in the future. I would love to give the instrument a go at least once! Eventhough after making this, I can technically say I own one now!

Y'all have a nice weekend!

If you see your name here, you're officially insane...

Thanks a lot for everyone who has been supporting me extensively with charged stickers, it really means a lot!

I have something really cool in mind for PI, to reward all of those who contributed

I've got this in my backpack, Dragon Music #2 remake!

Original (0:00, a portion), and new remake (from 0:22). The old one had a cool vibe, but the new one is so much more pumped and more like an actual OST

Posts inside a post... so trippy

Sound design for PYRO-ILLUSION! #fnaf #sfx

Experimented with a new "electric buildup" sound. Old one from 2017, vs a remake!

Expect the game to have an entire audio experience crafted with tons of attention and love for sfx design! :)

I wanted to remaster, an older piece of mine. How did I do? Tap/swipe to see the piece I created a whole year ago in January of 2023!

Back then I made "long-lasting" sounds to just emphasize audio-visual effects, like in this video.

From now, I'll make sure they are short. I believed those that suddenly stop (in certain scenarios) can be way more terrifying...

This was wip test content

I'm working on an OFFICIAL website for PYRO-ILLUSION with tons of content! I need your help with the #FAQ section!

Soo... go ahead ask anything interesting (or fun) that is relevant in the comments below!

Website sneak peek! There's gonna be a lot of interesting content there, I can assure you that... (no download button yet tho sad, sorry)

I will try to make the scrolling less boring tho, and probably add more separated sections
