RINSED - Devlog #5

Hello there!

This week is getting really busy since we decided to lunch a little pre alpha test for our friends so we finally get some feedback from real players!

Goal for this week is to polish the starting area and set everything up so a total beginner is not getting lost in the game.

In Addition to that Finn is currently reworking the survival mechanics and related UI elements!

Thers not that much new to show atm so here are some screenshots from Level work i did earlyer this week. We will of course post a few screenshots of the testing phase later next week!

On the bottom picture you see a sneak peak of a new gameplay mechanic which we will discuss in a later devlog so stay tuned and as always: Thanks for reading!

Finally happy with the "indoors" part of the game! Adding a small, closed off area to the open world of the forest was challeging but worth it. Lots of enviromental story telling in this one! :)

Something lurks in the depths of the glow-stone mine... You better pack some torches because you will need one for sure!

Painted some new headers for our crafting system! Survival, Cooking, Crafting... Can you guess what image is for what category? :D

Soon you will be a part of it.

Those zip-lines were once used to transport goods from the mountains into the villages below but now they make a great (and fun) shortcut for all adventurers!

As the glow stone cave was flooded and then isolated from the outside world for a few hundred years, it developed its own unique and oddly strange flora and fauna!

A little sneak peek on the first Island you will be able to travel to by ship! This island features lush green vegetation, lots of flowers, new wildlife, and of course rare items and a few riddles ;)

Released a very little very unfinished something!

Medieval times with zombies was always a thing I dreamed off so I messed around with the idea a bit in the past few weeks. This is by no means a finished game! But if you have fun with it: Go ahead!

Farmers crazy enough to grow food in the harsh conditions of the northern isles often need to use a few tricks to protect their plants! This seaside farmer has stacked lots of rocks high enough to protect his crops from the cold wind.

If you ever wanted to get a better/closer look at your nemesis, this is her! During development I nicknamed her "Emma"
