For Charles Fauna, opposites attract: it’s somewhere in between the magnetic pull of dark and light that his unique brand of alternative pop calls home. The Brooklyn-based artist, producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist achieves his trademark sound almost entirely from his bedroom studio. Now in 2021, Fauna prepares to deliver an EP which he envisions as the third part in a trilogy of albums.
Anson Kelley and Ruben Gutierrez make up the indie rock band benches which include a revolving cast of friends for live performances. The band started back when Anson was in middle school, as a way to play a talent show. Originally influenced by the 2000’s garage rock “Strokes” scene, but evolved into what can only be described as bench rock.
