We see Valorie at home. She’s flipping her Buck 120 that has “Riley'' engraved in the blade. She receives and answers a call and it split screens between Valorie and Hannah

Valorie: Hello?

Hannah: Hey

Valorie: Oh, hey Hannah, you ok? I heard what happened, well everyone heard what happened

Hannah: Yeah I’m fine, the cut’s deep though, but we have something more important to talk about, something way more important

Valorie: Go on then, tell me

Hannah: A Ghostface mask was left at the scene

Valorie: Slow down, you’re not suggesting I did this… Are you?

Hannah: What? No, Val, that’s not what I’m getting at here

Valorie: Then what are you getting at?

Hannah: Ghostface might be back, I already called Jen, and decided to call you. Y’know since your uncle was Dewey

Valorie: Does this mean I’m a target?

Hannah: Probably, which is why I called

Valorie: Have you told your other friends?

Hannah: I was about to, I seem to be part of this so they might be too

Valorie: This entire thing is so… Unreal

Hannah: Yeah, just please be careful

Valorie: You don’t have to tell me twice

Hannah: Talk to you later, Val

Valorie: Talk to you later

We cut to the TITLE CARD “Suspects”

We get an aerial view of Woodsboro Community Hospital. We then cut to Hannah in a hospital room. She has a bandage on her right forearm. Then a police officer walks in.

Officer: Hello Ms. Rose

Hannah: Hey

Officer: I have to ask you a few questions if that’s ok

Hannah: Go ahead

Officer: Did you see the man who did this?

Hannah: No, the lights were out, and the music was too loud to hear anything

Officer: Alright, do you have anybody you know who might do this?

Hannah: I have one suspect, Deion Elliot. Michael was a suspect in the attack of Marcus, Deion’s brother. It’d make sense for him to seek some payback

Officer: Thank you, ma’am, that’ll be all, without you seeing anything I can’t ask many of the questions I had intended to

Hannah: Anytime Officer, and if I get any info I’ll tell you

Officer: Have a nice day

Hannah: You too

The officer walks out. Hannah looks at a picture on her phone, of her and her mother. We cut to a car speeding down a road and we see it quickly approaching a car driving through an intersection. Then there’s the sound of a crash and we cut back to Hannah, with more tears in her eyes than last time. She makes a group text with Valorie, Jennifer, Charlie, and Jack. She types “be careful we could all be linked to this.” Then she gets a text from her dad

Dad: [How you feeling?]

Hannah: [better, it wasnt thaat bad]

Dad: [What happened to being careful?]

Hannah: [i couldnt account for that]

Dad: [I know, I know, I’m just glad you’re alright]

Hannah: [me to, love yo dad]

Dad: [Love you too, Rose]

We cut to a gun safe unlocking, with a Beretta 92 inside. The view flips to show Sidney Prescott, the main final girl of all the Ghostface attacks from 1996-2011. She holsters the gun after loading it.

Jennifer (from downstairs): Mom!

Sidney: Yes sweetie?

Jennifer: (from downstairs): Come here!

Sidney heads downstairs and sees Jennifer on the couch looking at the TV, the news is on.

Jennifer: It’s all over the news, people are saying Ghostface is back

Sidney: It could be a coincidence, but I’m not taking chances. And neither should you. Starting tomorrow you’ll have to have either a taser or pepper spray on you while at school

Jennifer: Aw, c’mon

Sidney: It’s for your safety, you’re my daughter and there’s a high chance you’re a target

Jennifer: I get it, but really?

Sidney: Yes, really

Jennifer looks down and notices Sidney has her gun on her

Jennifer: Walking around armed again, huh?

Sidney: I’ve been through four of these attacks, and I’ll make it through the fifth

Jennifer: Alright, just don’t get trigger-happy

Sidney: I know how to use a gun, Jen. And I may have to teach you if things get out of hand

Jennifer: Alright, by the way, can Hannah come over?

Sidney: That’s fine, I can trust her, but everyone’s a suspect

Jennifer: I know, don’t need to be quoting Randy again

Sidney: Ok, Ok

We cut to an apartment building’s hallway and two police officers stop at a door and knock

Deion: Who the fuck is it?

Officer 1: Woodsboro police, we have reason to speak to you, and we have a warrant to search your apartment, Mr. Elliot

Deion opens the door and looks confusingly at the two officers

Officer 2: I’m going to need to take you down to the station after we search your apartment

Deion: Does this have to do with that kid who died last night?

Officer 2: We’ll discuss it at the station

Officer 1 starts to do a lazy search in Deion’s apartment, and finds a Buck 120 hunting knife, the same type of knife that killed Michael

Officer 1: We got something, cuff em

Deion: Huh?

Officer 2 puts Deion in handcuffs quickly

Deion: What is this for? I didn’t fucking do anything

Officer 2: You claim that but we can’t be sure

They take Deion to the squad car, a Dodge Charger, and then there’s a loud bang from the apartment. Officer 1 draws an FN 509, and runs back into the building. Fire alarms go off and smoke floods through windows near the top floor.

Deion: What happened?

Officer 2: Good question, get in, I have to check this out, I think a bomb went off

Officer 2 puts Deion in the back of the squad car and locks it, but in the rush, she drops her keys on the sidewalk. Deion just sits annoyed in the back seat, and then he hears a tap on the car door beside him. He turns and the only thing he sees is someone in a Ghostface costume. Deion is startled by the sight, then notices a Buck 120 in Ghostface’s hand, just like the one Deion had in his apartment. Ghostface picks up the keys and unlocks the door slowly while staring at Deion. Ghostface unlocks it and swings open the door and Deion scoots back to the far left seat, but Ghostface plunges the knife through Deion’s leg causing Deion to let out a Scream. Ghostface pulls Deion towards them with the knife and throws him out of the squad car. Ghostface stomps Deion’s ankle resulting in a loud snap, and you can see his tibia sticking out, he Screams out in pain again. Ghostface drags him to the curb and pushes his face into it making him bite down on the curb. Then Ghostface stomps Deion’s jaw into the curb. He survived. Deion is bleeding from his mouth and missing several teeth. Ghostface repeatedly stomps Deion’s head into the curb until his jaw is nearly separated from his head. This entire time, Deion is still alive, and conscious. Ghostface pulls Deion up to face him, and then Ghostface tilts his head, then slams his head into the trunk of the squad car until Deion eventually stops moving. We cut to when the two officers run out with a few people who were in the building and see the blood on the ground and on the car. And then they see Deion, behind the car with his jaw ripped off. Officer 2 quickly opens the front passenger seat door and before she calls for backup she sees Deion’s jaw on the dash. Then she gets stabbed in the neck. She backs out holding her throat, but shortly collapses onto the pavement right next to the rear right door. Officer 1 goes down to check her pulse then the car door slams into his face, pushing him down. Ghostface walks out and takes Officer 2’s gun and shoots Officer 1 in the face, 10 times.

We fade into the TITLE CARD again “Suspects”
