Episode IV: Revelatiøns
We cut to the crime scene and Wesley is there, along with 2 CSIs. Wesley goes to the paper cutter and looks at it for a while
Wesley: This guy is one sick fuck
CSI 1: You can say that again
CSI 2: He’s tortured all the victims, didn’t even kill 'em quick
CSI 1: Damn
Wesley: I should get outta here, I got stuff to do
CSI 2: Alright, see ya Wes
Wesley: See ya
CSI 1: Wait! I found something
Wesley: What?
CSI 1: A note, looks like it fell, it says “I’m Cløser Than Yøu Think”
Wesley: That doesn’t give us much, but it does confirm it’s someone close to Hannah. Wait, has her dad been questioned?
CSI 2: I don’t think so, but now that you mention it, it wouldn’t be a bad idea
CSI 1: Wait there’s a bit of blood over here, seems a bit out of place, possibly the killer’s blood
We get a TITLE CARD “Revelatiøns”
We cut to Hannah walking down the street and then gets a call, she picks up
Hannah: Hey
Ghostface: Hellø, Hannah
Hannah: Charlie knock it the fuck off
Ghostface: Øh this isn't Charlie
Hannah: Oh, so you’re the real thing, or?
Ghostface: I’m incredibly real, Hannah. And yøu’re incredibly vulnerable
Hannah looks around and quickly hides in an alley and peaks around the corner
Ghostface: Wøw, yøu decide to duck intø an alley, that was smart øf yøu
Hannah: Why are you doing this?
Ghostface: Yøu døn’t knøw?
Hannah: It’s obviously not obvious, shithead
Ghostface: (chuckles) Yøu’ll find øut søøn enøugh, when I gut yøu alive
Hannah: So what? You’re just gonna pop up and kill me here?
Ghostface: Kill yøu? Nø, nø, nø. Pøp up? Yes
Ghostface grabs her and pushes her to the ground. Ghostface strikes the knife down at her arm but she rolls out of the way and kicks Ghostface, “You know where.” Now obviously it’s pretty effective, so Hannah takes her chance to get up and run. Ghostface grabs her and goes to stab her but she quickly turns around and stops the blade, with it going through the palm of her hand. She Screams. She pulls her hand back and punches Ghostface in the face with her other fist, and she runs. She eventually runs into another alleyway and hides behind a dumpster. Her breathing is heavy, but she tries to calm herself. She sees a glass shard and cuts off a strip of her jacket and wraps it tightly around her hand, making a bandage that changes from white to red. How fun? She cuts another strip of her jacket off and wraps it tightly around her upper arm, creating a makeshift tourniquet. Then Ghostface walks past the dumpster she is hiding behind and she covers her mouth. Then her phone rings. Thanks, Valorie. Ghostface turns to the dumpster and approaches it slowly. Hannah looks around and sees a glass bottle and picks it up. Right as Ghostface looks behind the dumpster she smashes it on his head, which ends up cutting Hannah’s hand too. He drops the knife and Hannah quickly snatches the knife with her messed up hand and runs, with both her hands hurt she can’t risk fighting. We cut to Valorie in her house pacing back and forth.
Valorie (panicked): C’mon, she always picks up
She calls again and this time she gets an answer
Valorie: Hannah! Thank God I thought you were dead, y’know with all the stuff that’s going on, I’m just glad you’re okay, you really had me worried there for a sec
Ghostface: Hannah can’t cøme tø the phøne right nøw, seems like she left it behind
Valorie: What-
Ghostface: This must be Valørie, I remember yøur uncle, sad støry isn’t it?
Valorie: What’d you do to Hannah?
Ghostface: Øh nøt much, she’ll pull thrøugh, unførtunately
Valorie: I’m gønna fucking Kill yøu
Ghostface: Yøu can try, but yøu have nø idea whø I am. Gøød luck, Val
He hangs up. Valorie isn’t as panicked anymore, she actually looks thrilled in a way. We cut back to Hannah, she walks into a pharmacy, and flags down an employee after she conceals the 10-inch hunting knife, by putting it in her jacket
Hannah: Hey! I need help, please
Employee: What happened?
Hannah: I was attacked, I just need help with this, Quick
Employee: You need a hospital ASAP
Hannah: I think I need to stop the bleeding first don’t you fucking think?
Employee: On it, Miss
The employee calls 911 for an ambulance and gets Hannah a bandage. Hannah rips off the red jacket fabric that was previously white and rewraps her hand, as it starts to bleed again
Employee: Wait, I think I’ve seen you, you were on the news. Hannah, right?
Hannah: Huh? Oh, yeah. That’s me
Employee: Did your attack have anything to do with Ghostface?
Hannah: Yeah it did-
The knife falls and the employee backs up. Hannah picks it back up
Hannah: I took his knife, I’m gonna see if the police can get any more info from it
Employee: I’ll trust you, for now
The ambulance pulls up to the pharmacy with the lights shining into the pharmacy and the sirens wailing outside and we cut to a knock on a door and Charlie answers the door, it’s Wesley
Charlie: Hey, Wes
Wesley: Hey, Charlie. Jack here too?
Charlie: Yeah, come in
Wesley walks in and greets Jack and sits down
Wesley: So we have news, Hannah was attacked
Jack: What!?
Wesley: She put up a good fight, sustaining mostly minor injuries, except the hole through her hand
Charlie: Yikes
Wesley: She managed to escape with the killer’s knife, we’re running a test for fingerprints, besides Hannah’s, and maybe a DNA test on the blade to make sure he hasn’t killed anyone non-accounted for
Charlie: Makes sense, any big information to help figure out who this guy is though?
Wesley: Actually, yes. We found a blood sample at the crime scene of- You know who… But it didn’t seem to line up with what happened to her according to the forensic team
Charlie: So you’re saying we may have cold hard evidence on who this is?
Wesley: It sure seems that way
Jack: This’ll be the shortest Ghostface case ever
Wesley: Hopefully, don’t jinx it
We cut to an officer walking into Hannah’s hospital room and he hands her phone to her
Hannah: Where’d you-
Officer: It was left in the alley you said you left it, but not behind the dumpster like you said, it was actually on the dumpster
Hannah: He probably answered a call or something, but why leave it?
Officer: We have no idea, we also decided to not take it as evidence, we felt you may need it
Hannah: Thanks, I need to make a call so can you leave?
Officer: Of course
The officer walks out of the room and Hannah calls someone and waits for an answer. Then the other line picks up
Valorie: What the fuck do you want?
Hannah: Yikes, that’s aggressive
Valorie: Oh shit, sorry last time I called Ghostface answered, are you ok?
Hannah: Yeah, just had a knife through the hand though
Valorie: What!?
Hannah: I’m alright, may have permanent nerve damage though
Valorie: Now you remind me of Dewey
Hannah: (chuckles) At least it wasn’t my back though
Valorie: Yeah, I’m glad you’re alright
Hannah: Me too
Valorie: I’ll swing by later, want anything?
Hannah: Hmm, something to drink, like a Coke or something
Valorie: Alright, talk to you later
Hannah: Bye, Val
Valorie: Bye, Rose
Hannah hangs up and we cut to another hospital room, we’re in the perspective of Hannah. She’s hooked up to a bunch of medical equipment that she has no idea what is. She looks down at the bandages wrapped around her hands. Then a doctor walks into the room.
Doctor: Oh, you’re awake, Hannah. I’m here to inform you that your mother didn’t make it. I’m so sorry for your loss
We cut back to the present with Hannah looking down at her bandaged hands and in tears. Then Valorie walks into the room, with the Coke she said she’d get. Time flies when you're having flashbacks
Valorie: You ok, Hannah?
Hannah: Yeah, just a bit of PTSD
Valorie: From?
Hannah: When my mother died
Valorie: Oh… Hannah, it’ll be alright I know it will. I know stuff like this is hard to go through but you’re not alone. I’ll protect you, I promise. Ghostface doesn’t have shit on me
Hannah: Thanks, Val
Valorie: I’ll make sure that fucker is breathing dirt sixty-six feet under the grøund
Hannah: Is that a promise?
Valorie: It’s a full-blown guarantee
Hannah smiles and notices Valorie has her Buck 120 in its sheath on her hip. Then Valorie smiles back at Hannah. We cut to an investigation room and two people walk in, one with a notepad. They sit down across from Hannah’s Dad.
Investigator: Hello, Mr. Rose, I assume you know why you’re here?
Hannah’s Dad: Yeah, my daughter, correct?
Investigator: Correct. We have to ask you a few questions
Hannah’s Dad: I wasn’t there, I don’t think I can help really help
Investigator: You’re not being questioned as a witness, you’re being questioned as a suspect
Hannah’s Dad: Excuse me?
Investigator: Sir, all we ask is for your cooperation, alright?
Hannah’s Dad: Alright, go on
Investigator: Do you own any weapons at home?
Hannah’s Dad: Yeah, a Beretta, M9A4
Investigator: Any hunting weapons?
Hannah’s Dad: No sir, my wife was a vegetarian and when she died, I was too
Investigator: Alright, have you ever shot that M9 of yours?
Hannah’s Dad: No, Hannah probably understands that thing more than me
Investigator: Alright, We’ll need to keep you here for a bit longer, is that alright, sir?
Hannah’s Dad: Of course
We cut to Jennifer and Sidney in an argument
Sidney: I’m sorry, but I’m not letting you hang out with her anymore
Jennifer: But why?
Sidney: She’s obviously a primary target, making you one too by hanging out with her
Jennifer: We’re already targets, having Prescott as a last name is a death sentence
Sidney: I get it, but you gotta listen to me, I’ve been through this five times, Jen. I know what I’m doing, and I know how to keep you alive
Jennifer: But shouldn’t I stick together with my friends?
Sidney: Staying alone works way better than socializing, trust me
Jennifer: Ugh, fine I’ll be introverted in this jail called home
Sidney: Don’t be like that, Jen. Just promise me you won’t answer the phone for anyone but me
We fade into the TITLE CARD again “Revelatiøns”
